Happy Father's Day...

In memory of father's day I am
going to make my dad proud of
what I learned today... I bet you
can't wait:) First off, we hinted
at going to the lake today at lunch.
Dad's way of saying no was "we will
get the jet skis ready this week" Here
we are a few hours later!

Ryan out on the water doing some
crazy turns that of course I would
never do... Ok, so lesson #1, when
the jet ski is taking on water that
is normally an indication to get it
off the lake. And that we did...about
30 minutes later!

So Steve and I are working on a
flower box in the back yard and I
want to do a wild flower theme...
Driving home, after strinking out
at the lake we noticed "free" flowers
and they are exactly what I had in mind...

Ryan, don't you know that crack
kills...you will have to enlarge this
one to see what I mean. And he
wasn't doing this on purpose! So
away we went back to Holton to learn
lesson #2 and #3 of the day... Lesson
#2, don't leave a jump box next to
a bunch of white trash fishermen
because when you forget to pick it
up and go back later to get it...it will
be gone! Lesson #3, what we thought
were sunflowers are actually brown
eyed susans...I did not know that. We
got a full lecture on all types of wildflowers
when we went back to the lake to get the
jump box. We also were educated on Red
eyed Rondas...or was that something that
we made up???

Here is my stunt man Ryan- his
tricks are really hot! I could
watch him for hours and have
a big grin on my face the whole
time...I know that you can't imagine
that...

Doing that thing... I wonder if I can
take lessons??? This is right up my
alley

Take note of the number of wheels
that are actually touching the ground...
I couldn't get a shot when it was higher
off the ground. It takes skills to have
4 wheels and only use one of them:)

Ryan taking me for a "slow" ride...
right. There are only two speeds
for him. Fast and I can't close my
mouth because we are going so fast
fast...good times.

On the way home there was a
beautiful rainbow so I jumped in the
back of the car and captured it as
best as I could.

Actually I am just trying to get
some cool pictures like Rhy has...
So as you can see I am more educated
at the end of the day then I was when
I got out of bed. That should make
a dad proud right??? Happy Father's
Day Dad!

The rainbow is a great shot! Maybe we should take a photography class together...right after bagpipes and flower pressing.
