The Henderson Christmas...

I realized at the end of the day that I did
not get any pictures of the Christmas that
we had at our house. Michelle emailed
me pictures this week... Walter loved sitting
in my rocking chair. It was just his size...

Grandma and Walter- Michelle and
Davons son.

He loved this chair!!!

Christmas at G & G Henderson...

Christmas Day we spend time with
Grandpa and Grandma Henderson. This
is Grandma Henderson opening her gift.

Big Steve (Steve's dad) taking a look at
Grandma's new bag.

Grandma Henderson and I had a nice
visit. Grandpa Henderson was in the
hospital last week so we were glad that
he was home for Christmas Day.
Christmas Trip to Houstonia...

Steve, Grandma Smiley and Rebecca.
We drove to Houstonia Christmas Eve
night. We had the immediate Henderson
Family Christmas earlier that day. We
have a wonderful time with Grandpa
and Grandma Smiley even though we
were not able to stay for Christmas Day.

Grandma and I have a wonderful visit
that night. It was special to have our
time together.

Mom, Dad and the kids

Brian and Ryan again not being
"serious" I don't think it is possible

Again, refer to the above statement...

Mom unwrapping her new watch

turn out really nice!

Brian took a moment to smile before
going back to his seat- Hey lady up front,
put the program down!!!

Brian talking on the phone to Lisa right

real diploma- just joking Brian!

like this on him???

Brian and Grant- A life long friend. They
did want want him to leave but everyones
time must come. Treasure the friendships
and don't lose touch!

Brian we love you and are so proud of you.

The annual picture...

In preparation for the Holiday we had
to get the "Christmas picture" of our
family. This is always challenging and
Steve never looks forward to it. This is not
the picture that we used but you will
be seeing it hopefully sooner then later.
The letter still needs to be written and it
is 1:26 AM:) Way to start off week!
Eddie and Gina's Wedding...

Eddie and Stephen after the wedding.
December weddings are so beautiful!
This has been in the works for some time.
We are so happy for both of them!

They were nice to each other even
though the guys had other ideas...

Before dark...

I got outside just in time to get a picture
before it got dark. Today I was able to
mow/rake the yard AND put the Christmas
lights on the house! I was worried that
the neighbors might think they had a
crazy living next door but there were was
one other person out with a lawnmower
in December...

This is the swing set that I was so excited
about. It came with the house. It is ready
for my nephews and niece to enjoy!

I thought that we had a big back yard at
the old house well this is bigger that I
thought. It will be fun during mowing
time... This is Steve's workshop- HAHAHA
It has lights and plugs so it would be
perfect for a handy man...

This is a little better picture of the deck.
We can not wait for warm weather! I see
us spending a lot of time out here!

THE MOVE...

I had really good intentions of taking
pictures throughout the move but that
did not happen for several reasons. One
reason was it was like -10 degrees, the
camera I kept out but the memory card
was packed somewhere in a box, and
third, it was just plain crazy. We rented
a 26 foot U-Haul thinking that one trip
would do it... Three full trips later with
the Durango full and everyones car full
we arrived at 2843 SW Bingham. We
are liking everything so far but it is just
different from our old home. This is a
picture of the kitchen. Just trying to find
a spot for everything...

Of course I don't take any pictures until
late at night. We have a deck on the back
of the house. The dogs figured it out really
quick. I was worried about Tucker with all
of the stairs as he does not like to exercise
all that much. The yard is fenced in so it is
ready for our children. We inherited a swing
set and that will be great some day...when
our nieces and nephews come to visit...

This is the living room as you walk in.
The color is really not bad but this picture
does not do it any justice... The previous
owner was a contractor and he did all
of the brick work on the fire place. This is
what the front of the house looks like. I
will update once I have a chance to put things
away.
