Happy birthday to me...and Walter...

My 21st birthday festivities started
on Friday when I received these
BEAUTIFUL flowers...


I learned that these are wax flowers and
it comes in a variety of colors... I am
not a big fan of baby's breath so I love
getting "different" things as Steve
likes to call it! You did good honey!


Sunday was the official day and Lisa
had lunch after church at her house.
I will probably be able to show you this
card (sorry everyone else that got me a
card) in 20 years. It was from Joshua
and it was SOOOOOOOOOO precious!
How did he know I was 5???? Yes Joshua...
I will take 2 just like you!


Then we headed to Kansas City to
celebrate Walter's birthday. We share
the same date...what are the chances of
that! Here is Walter who just turned 2
and Grandma Henderson.

Second cake of the day...mine was

much better...an icecream cake my

FAVORITE!!!

This gives a whole new meaning to

"being green" :) Gotta love green frosting!

We finished the day in Topeka at

Olive Garden. Sean and Rhys came

to Topeka. I was worried that I wouldn't

get to wear a tiara but Rhys pulled through

and bought me a Princess tiara! I had a

WONDERFUL birthday and look forward to

a great year! Thanks to everyone who made

the day special!

The ceiling in this room is DONE!!!
Sanding it was a total blast! I think
contractors get a bonus if they finish
a project early...no bonus for this
one!


I have been telling myself all week
that I need to bog because it has
been some time since my last post
but there is nothing to write home
about...I added a few ornaments to
the collection and other than that
nothing new...
