Christmas Day at the Smiley's...

Kayla and Claudia watching a DVD
and singing along. Claudia is the
sweetest thing. She put her arm
around Kayla and was ready to share
her DVD player so they could both
watch!

Later in the afternoon we opened
gifts. Grandma is opening a gift
from her "favorite grandson" and
I'm pretty sure she didn't know who
that was! Kidding Ryan!

And then we had a visit from Santa
himself. Christian and Sarah put
Ryan up to this and Claudia was the
only kids that absolutely did NOT
like Santa. I was laughing so hard but
it was a lot of fun! HO ho ho!

Santa handed out present to all
the kids and then headed off to the
next house!

Freya and Max opening gifts... Christmas
Day as I know it is spent at Grandpa and
Grandma Smiley's. I remember as a kid
getting our sock out for Santa and then
opening our stocking gifts in the morning.
There would always be walnuts in our socks
and I don't ever remember eating them.

Looky what Santa brought my cousin
David!

Me with Grandma and Grandpa Smiley!
We will finish Christmas with my family
on Saturday and I am looking forward to
that!

One last pict...my brother Ryan
and I! We always have fun together!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!
Christmas Day...

I hope you had a Merry Christmas!
So yes there is some explaining to do...
actually Grandpa didn't want to put his
shirt on so this is how we took pictures!
If it didn't bother him it such as heck wasn't
going to bother me!

Grandpa Henderson, Steve, and Grandma
Henderson. We visited them Christmas
morning. They are in assisted living
and they were glad to see us! Lots of
crazy stories about Grandpa on
Christmas Day. He went to the bathroom
to take a nap in his chair and after 20 minutes
Grandma went in to see if he was ok and he
was totally out of it! You just have to laugh...

Grandma appears to be doing much
better and she was having a good day
so it was great to see her!

Grandma Henderson opening her
present! She really liked it and was
going to wear it to Christmas dinner
later that night. Grandpa was checking
it out to see if it had any pockets. He
really likes to have 2 pockets on ALL
of his shirts which is very entertaining!
Henderson Christmas in KC...

We had the Henderson Christmas
on Sunday in KC at Stephen's sisters
house. After we got there we realized
that for the second year in a row Clifton
got the very same present that we did
so we took the tricycle back and got
something different. This was the one
thing that I picked up and Steve did not
really like so that was even more of a reason
to buy 100 ball to have to pick up:)

This is how Walter "opened" this
gift... Stephen just dumped all the
ball on him. Then we proceeded to
throw the balls at each other. Again,
100 ball that are not at our house!
The benefits of being an Aunt and Uncle!

Just for fun...

Walter riding his new tricycle...

Safety first! The hard hat was from
another toy set that we picked up
for Walter. Different things that
make LOTS of NOISE!!! We had a
great Christmas with family and I
received more Willow Tree Figurines!
SOOOOOO exciting!
A night with the kids...

We kept Joshua and Kayla on Saturday
night. Steve got up with Kayla while
Joshua and I were still in bed! He slept
in his own bed until 4:30 and then
he crawled in with us. It is kind of
hard to sleep on the floor when our
two furry children sleep there:)

Have I ever told you that you are TOOOOO
cute! She is so much fun and is growing
up WAY too fast!

Joshua went downstairs to wake
Ryan up and he wanted to play
Guitar HeHo with him so Ryan
did. I made muffins for the rest
of us!

And then I got Kayla dressed for church.
These boots are made for walkin' and
the pig tails were over the top! She
wasn't a fan of it at first but I know
she loves it now!
Rhy's 30th...

My friend Rhys is officially an old
woman! Sean had a surprise 30th
party for her at Old Chicago in
Manhattan. I was talking to her
earlier in the day and told her that
I had a root canal and she almost hung
up on me. Little did she know that
Steve and I were on our way there!

I can't remember if we sang Happy
Birthday old lady or not...hydrocodone
is GREAT! Happy Birthday Rhys!

Little Joshua turns 3!!!

We had cake later but this picture
was too cute to not post first. Lisa
and Bryan had the fam over for
dinner and cake and icecream!
Joshua was on cloud 9!

Look at all the presents! It was so
fun to watch him open these. I would
love to know what is going on in his
head sometimes...

This was the first present that he
picked to open. It is a nerf football
that makes noise when you throw
it. It was FREEZING outside so
playing with this toy right now is
NOT an option!

I LOVE watching kids open presents.
They are so cute about it.

No one could wait for him to open
this one. We ALL knew what it was.
I was surprised with it being the biggest
present in size that he didn't go for that
one first.

Looky here! He wasn't super excited
about it at first like we all thought
he would be but later he put it on
and started jammin' like his daddy!

I made...yes I MADE this for Joshua
from Steve and I. He loves Thomas
the Train and so when I saw this fabric
I HAD to get it! I don't think that Joshua
was as nearly as excited about this as I
was...

And yes...there is nothing I wouldn't
do for this little boy!

Yep...this boy too:)

And then we all enjoyed cake that
Joshua spit on while blowing out
his candles. Happy 3rd Birthday Joshua!

And one last pic of Joshua and I...
